Pair of Kings is a show you mock in public but secretly enjoy in private. I say that because I love the show despite how tight it feels, the “boys are gross” jokes, and the cringy effects (they were worse than WOWP, but everyone always viewed XD as the Nicktoons of all the Disney Channels), but when my friend played an episode of it during the eating portion of our game night, I was wondering why the hell she’d put it on for people to watch it 😂. Mind you, she put it on while I was on my 1st rewatch of the whole series! We both like it but the rest of the people there were more than likely weirded out, confused, or unamused! Like, I like it but I’d never recommend someone watch it unless they have a similar taste to mine, it’s like recommending people to watch House Hunters. That’s not really gonna end well for you

It'll be interesting to watch a retrospective on this show, because I never watched the entirety of this series. I watched season 1 and a bit of season 2. The other series you covered, I at least watched the whole series before. For this one, I'm going in half blind. I'll see you in June or July for it. 😊

i’ll pledge. you make great deep dives, i don’t usually watch this kind of content nor was i allowed to watch these shows when i was little, but your quality always draws me in. can’t say any of your videos don’t deserve to be profitable, considering your insane amount of effort that you put into each one of them.

I remember loving this show as a kid and having the biggest crush on mikayla. I remember stumbling across a few episodes of this show and it instantly became my new favorite thing. I can’t wait to re-experience and see how terrible it was the whole time :D

Unfortunately, I’m not sure at this time when I’ll be able to post this on YouTube. It was SUPPOSED to go up this week, but YouTube’s auto-copyright content ID system is acting in ways I’ve never seen before.
The video got 66 individual copyright claims, one for every episode of the series, and for whatever reason just ISN’T giving me the option for a 7-day appeal. My only option is a 30-day dispute, otherwise it can’t be monetized. (I have to explain “No, I’m not just uploading the episodes unedited. There’s 3 hours of my audio on the timeline, which is actually not in the episodes on Disney+.”)
Right now I’m not in a position where I can afford to let 2 full months of work generate no income. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to integrate a sponsor either, which would require me at least couple weeks to get something lined up and another 30 days beyond that with a reupload.
Best case scenario, you’ll get the Pair of Kings video on YouTube like June 5th. Worst case scenario, sometime in July. Sorry, I really wish I could’ve uploaded it this week. For now, it’s on Patreon for any price.
