Another thing I want to add is focus. Even as programmer, when I make my own app, I tend to make things overcomplicated. End up exausting me even before it strats. I work in start up where the boss doesn't understand tech/software. His background is marketing. He had vision, but since he doesn't understand the software development world, he thinks what he wants is easy. After that, he add more and more side features and forgetting the main feature.
