There are a lot of variables with this. The level of threat the situation poses, your ability to actually change the outcome, whether you have a wife/kids who depend on you at home, whether the victim has more or less ability to defend herself (e.g. too young/too old would probably incentivise you more to protect her). But I'm just trying to get a general feel of your attitude trying to exclude all the variables. Personally, I would help since I don't have a wife or kids and I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I did nothing. But I should mention I'm immortal so the stakes aren't as high for me

Unfortunately, the people these w0men have voted into office have a tendency to side with the CRIMINALS in the 'Good Samaritan' scenario. First, secure YOUR oxygen mask.

When it comes down to it, I believe not stepping in is for the greater good. We need to push back against the idea that they can abandon men, denigrate us, subjugate us, and yet continue to benefit off us. They're already starting to view us purely as appliances that exist to serve rather than human beings with our own motives, needs and goals. You can't treat an individual as invisible right up until you suddenly need them for something. Maybe they'd have their boyfriend there to protect them, but they'd rather be free and independent to sleep around.

Just how I was raised. Anyone in immediate danger needs help. If it's possible for me to help, I would. And yes, I have put myself at risk to help others. No, I'm not a hero or seeking any recognition. Just an old country boy who tries to do the right thing.

I honestly don't even know at this point. I can see myself going either way.

10 years ago yes I would help a stranger. Today I'd help a turtle cross the road before helping a stranger and most likely get stabbed, robbed, or sued....

Just depends on the situation. I wouldn’t put myself in a dark alley with no exits without plenty of public witness. My safety comes first and foremost. I have people in my life that count on me and we care for each other. I am unwilling to risk that for a random stranger. It’s not like I would ever expect a woman to come to my rescue… 🤷♂

No. I usually do my best to avoid areas in town with high crime rates.

Call it simping if you want, but at the end of the day I can’t ignore the fact that God created men including myself to help protect the vulnerable.

It depends on the danger, and if she asks. I'm very traditional, but live in a mostly liberal state. I've had this conversation with female staff at work. Im suppose to ask them if they feel safe letting me leave, if they're the only ones left. I told them I will let them know I'm leaving, if they don't feel safe they can ask me to stay.

I’d help off instinct but if I go to jail I’ll be livid. Edit: I wouldn’t lift a finger for a bbw

Piece Of Mind
Would you help a woman who is in danger if you don't know her?
