Hello fellow Monstiez, I love and support BABYMONSTER with all my heart 💖, and I’m always proud of their hard work and talent. However, I have a concern I’d like to share respectfully.
During some moments in their world tour, a few members — including minors — have been doing twerking/butt-shaking moves while singing or interacting with fans (outside of choreography). While I believe they are just having fun and don’t mean harm, these moves can be easily sexualised, especially since some members are still underage.
I feel it’s important that we protect their image and make sure they’re comfortable and safe, both now and in the future. This isn’t about shaming them — it’s about wanting them to be respected as young artists.
I hope YG Entertainment and the team can encourage more age-appropriate fan interactions and help guide the members so they can still be playful and fun without risking misunderstandings.
