Get well soon Ronnie. You have not let anyone down. Your health is much more important than a game of snooker. Everyone knows you are a legend!!

No one really knows what goes on in Ronnie's mind. There are many that live normal lives then have a complete meltdown. Ill give Ronnie the benefit of the doubt and hope whatever issues he has that he gets better and we will see him again soon.

If Ronnie needs to take a break so be it, he should look after himself so that we can see his wonderful snooker for years to come

We're just mere mortals 'dancing about architecture'. He's the most decorated player in history, a genius and this comes with the territory. He's said himself in the past that you wouldn't enter a thoroughbred in every race either. Plus, he did say he was done for the year after the UK.

Memories heโs given Iโll forgive for missing some tournaments if it means we get the real Ronnie at others

At least Liam goes through to the second round. It wouldn't have happened if Ronnie turned up.

Im a ronnie fan but him saying he is pulling out of this tournament like he did the champion of champions for mental health reasons is total bollocks. He has been saying for years that he hates playing in the smaller tournaments in the UK and prioritises triple crown events and the events in china so its hardly any surprise that he has dropped out of this one. The mental health card is just the perfect alibi these days because it will be viewed as insensitive to question it. I bet come the end of the season you will see the pattern of events he drops out of just happens to coincidently be the ones he says he doesnt like.

Love Ronnie! Agree itโs disrespectful to pull out so lateโ people taking the time off work to come and watch! But then he could have a good reason I do hope so.

Mental issues are not like physical issues, you don't get much warning and when the depression starts you have to stop or you could cause longer term effect. If he went to lose the first match he would be okay but Ronnie does not go to lose. You would rather he plays and suffers for your personal satifaction.

I totally agree with this statement. To pull out so late is just unprofessional and to claim it's medical reasons is disingenuous. He's been "ill" and then suddenly "ok" when it suits him too many times lately. He can pull out of any tournaments he likes without any reason as long as he doesn't play in another one at the same time, so he doesn't need to BS his fans. Lot's of people paid their ticket and turned up to see him and was let down badly. I'm as big a fan of Ronnie as anyone else but the game he's been playing lately is just not right.
