In my latest TCG video, I discussed the sketch varients for the Sky biome.

@xdingo93x

I'd give each biome their own sketch style that matches more the color palette of that biome

Instead of blueprints you could’ve also done constellations

the sky sketch is giving me water vibes

I love these sketch cards. The white on blue looks sick for sky. The play on each biome color is the move.

I love the blueprint style paper but light colored lines on a darker color paper is not my favorite. I think it would look better if it was drawn in a darker shade of blue on a lighter blue paper.

Unique looks great, but how would you solve the problem of sky and ocean are blue?

@WonderAboutUs

I think the sky sketches should be in the same color paper as desert, but with non-photo blue pencil.

I would be curious to see what you would do with the ocean sketches and jungle sketches if you are planning to do different styles for each area, if not and you want to stick to one version throughout the game then why not have both of these, a sketch version and a blueprint version, it would stick to your day and night theme cards and gives more easily created card variants for the collectors to hunt for.

@SkyfoxArt

I agree with darkening the blue background so there's more contrast!

@Sheashix

I think the background would be more visually appealing (when playing or even displaying) if each biome is different. Perhaps having an element involved? Desert - can somewhat stay the same Sky- clouds Ocean- waves Jungle - leaves/vines They can be a colour theme eg sky-greyscale, ocean blue and jungle green as an ode to the single colour paintings but have the opacity down to have the black sketch stand out 🤷‍♀

@d.r.broome

Could the background on the sky biome cards be darker, so there's a bit more contrast?

@whovian1018

I’m having trouble with the contrast between the blue and white. Perhaps tweaking the colours first before we make a decision. Also, what colour would the Ocean be if Sky is blue? Would it be a teal/green? Then what would Forest be? I love the Leonardo da Vinci look of the regular sketches, but I do think there is a lot of potential in having different colours/styles depending on the biome. Perhaps if they were all the same though it would kind of be like rainbow rares/gold cards in Pokemon? Where it doesn’t matter which type, they all have the same colours

Add stars and made them celestial looking. Fits well with the shy biome. 😊

The blue print style looks so good. Wind could be grey with white lines. Jungle could be a muted nice green similar to the blue. Few ideas for you. Hopefully you like them

Sketch vs Inverted is a bit of a dichotomy when you need 4 options total rather than just two. You could just do an inverted sketch for ALL the biomes as a special card and a normal sketch as the regular special. Kinda like a night version of the sketches.

I think they should all be paper background with dark sketch lines but slightly different sketch line colors to differentiate the biomes

@breamakesart4543

I like the blue background, but I think the white lines on top are a little hard to read. Maybe a lighter blue background with dark blue lines?

@abbigailmae11

Each biome should have the colors reflect that. I would switch the blue and white around for air, and then do the blue background for the ocean.

That tone of blue feels more like water biome to me. Maybe try sunset sky warmer pallet? So you when two warmer color biomes then the jungle and water would be cool tones.

@spaghettihater933

I think it'd be cool for each sketch variant to be slightly different, but the white on blue is hard to see for me.
