Amen to that. Monday A man hit me with his car in the Costco parking lot.I don't feel good at all because I'm weening off medicine and FMD. So I'm waiting for a lady to finish up loading her car and leave the handicap spot. After she leaves I stand in the handicap spot waiting for my mom to get there only a few cars behind in line. This guy pulls forword with his car. I tell him I know you are handicapped but I'm disabled with a service dog, and mom has a leg brace on as well and has difficulty walking.. as I'm talking to the angry man decided he was going to hit me with his car to move me. I landed on the hood of his car and my clearly marked service dog is next to me. His wife was yelling at him. He then gets out of his car angry yelling at me. I start yelling for help. The Costco guy who does the carts shows up and the man gets in his car then tried leaving. The Costco guy is at the car window now the guy is still trying to drive away with the Costco guy hanging out the car window being confrontational with him. At some point in all this the wife gets out of the car and goes into the store to go shopping. The man is Accelerateing with the Costco guy still hang out the car window fighting with him. So I get Infront of the car and try to get the guy to stop so he doesn't hurt the Costco guy or anyone else like a child this is the entrance to the store.the man Hits me with his car a second time. His car is still accelerateing with me on the hood of the car. And my service dog is running to try and keep up with me because he's attached to me. From the hood of the car im watching my service dog running slowing down cuz the man is still trying to flee. So I decided to tuck and roll off the hood of the car so my service dog didn't get hurt. The Costco guy is hanging out the window still. Some how managed to keep up and got a picture of the man's license plate and car. I called the police. The police officers took my statement, the costco guy, and another lady who seen it in the parking lot. the officers partner found the vehicle in the parking lot and waited for him. I'm waiting for the DA to call me back. This all happened at the front entrance of Costco and some how non of it is on camera. Seriously how does the front entrance to Costco not have cameras. My mind is blown over that especially since a lady got hit and died in about the very same spot a few years ago. My mind is blown over this. Seriously no cameras at the entrance of Costco scars me. Be careful out there. Seriously watch out for the crazy people.
