@oobelgraw

I still can't believe that the way I discovered TGUK was in 2000 tuning into the local rock station in Maine and hearing an interview with Mark Hoppus, and they asked him what CD was in his car at the moment, and he got real excited and said "The Get Up Kids - Something To Write Home About. Go buy it, listen to it, it's amazing." So I did. And here we are. Thank you all!

Off the wagon has to be one of the most under rated songs you guys have from the early years. 4 minute mile, Eudora, Woodson and the EPs are all just so Raw it hits the spot. Nothing else like Hearing coming clean for the first time But there was also nothing else like the first song I ever heard by you guys and how I Discovered you. And that was the song “overdue” Was at the end credits of a Popular skate video back in the day. “Tao of skateboarding” With Brian sumner. Birdhouse team. (Hope you guys got compensated for that because pretty sure that’s Tony Hawks sponsor or was during that time and they sold Those VHS tapes in stores) Then I Heard 4 minute mile. At the same time I also loved Saves the days Can’t slow down. But Notning and I mean nothing beats Your early Stuff. At least for me. Not to say your new stuff isn’t good. It’s just for the same reason Enema of the state is the best blink 182 album ever But damn guys. Off the wagon Is Legit One of my favs You will always be my favorite As far as This genre of music goes. -Nate
