Arman hasn't fought in over 17 months. He's grappling 40 yr olds though

A third of the UFC roster have a fight scheduled, a third of them probably just finished a fight don't have anything booked, the other third is the entire lightweight division.

I mean I know everyone is questioning what these stats mean but no one can deny the lightweight division is acting like absolute divas

Guru wasn’t lying when he said they get to the top 5 and wait for the champ to get to them. With a few outliers.

Should be mandatory that every fighter fights at least 2x a year

"The UFC doesn't pay it's fighters because then they wouldn't fight as often." Sure bro.

Remember when ufc deleted Leon Edwards from the rankings because of Covid? They need to a strict rule in place on how long and under what circumstances you’re allowed to keep your number. Same with belts (Jon Jones)

Ufc the only fighting promotion that has people sitting around waiting for paychecks and gifted opportunities instead of doing their job

Most ranked fighters only fight twice a year, we generally only know 5-6 events ahead of time. This doesn't seem like a major statistical outlier

I wonder how usual or unusual that statistic is. I have no frame of reference to compare it to 😅

UFC gives us events every weekend and people are still complaining 😂 the sport is fairly new and it’s only getting bigger they are doing something right

Unranked fighters making way less, probably 14k/show, 14k/win, them boys hungry and put on bangers. We get 12-15 fights nearly every saturday and folks complain. UFC is alive and well and if u dont like it dont watch it

Rankings made cowards out of everyone. They try holding on to invisible numbers that they pretend make them rare commodities.

UCRC - The Ultimate Couch Riding Championship. my biggest problem with MMA right now. especially Armen, i wish I could not show up for work for a year and a half and still be fine 😂

And people worry about their pay i understand for some it's more difficult than others but hardly any of the ranked fighters fight more than once a year

I'd be interested in the average per year and periodically checking each quarter or leading to big events, i.e MSG, IFW, the December card, etc.

Why would they all be booked at the same time leaving a cooling off period of no one ranked being able to fight? Gotta spread the load across the year and account for long term injuries in the process

MMA On Point
There are 176 ranked UFC fighters. Only 37% of them are scheduled to fight.
