We're giving away 10 Phaser Kits! Analog Devices, MathWorks, and AESS are sponsoring another Radar Challenge! If you an idea for something cool to do with the Phaser X band phased array radar system (www.analog.com/cn0566), then submit your proposal here:
All project proposals must be received by Sept 15. If selected, you will receive a free Phaser Radar kit. Teams that complete the challenge can keep the kit after they present their radar at the IEEE AESS Radar Conference in Phoenix Arizona, May 11-15, 2026.
You choose the topic, but do something interesting. Possible ideas are:
1. Passive Radar
2. ISAR or SAR imaging
3. Targeting, clutter suppression, or radar processing algorithms
4. Adding beamforming transmit arrays to the Phaser
5. Antenna design and testing
6. Beamforming calibration techniques
Prior to submitting your team's proposal, I encourage you to research the topic and read about the Phaser CN0566 hardware. It's not just the idea that matters! It's the successful implementation of the idea, and being able to present it, that is important. Let me know if you have any questions. I hope you'll think of something cool and submit your proposal by Sept 15.
