Serious question, Which is your favorite holiday?

@corndogboi

I like at this point that Christmas is no longer that much of a religious holiday, but rather just a day for everyone to celebrate with each other and showing their appreciation. Don’t get me wrong, it is still very much a religious holiday, as I know that many people go to church on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Hanukah and Kwanza seem pretty cool also. I remember in first grade that we had a little thing around Christmas time where we got to learn how other people celebrated them. I found it very interesting and fun.

I love Christmas. Even if gift giving wasn’t a thing.. it would still be my favorite. I love all the lights, decor, trees, holiday cookies, families getting together for a big feast… love Christmas.

I like Christmas as that's the time we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour. My favorite is Easter, when we truly focus on why he came into the world. His death and resurrection has saved us all, whether we believe it or not. His Grace, Mercy and Love endureth forever.

I really enjoy Thanksgiving!! It’s far less pressure. Christmas has become so commercialized. The stress of shopping especially when you hate shopping is so overwhelming. I just enjoy the company of family and friends and the food!!

Thanksgiving, because it encourages us to adopt a time and spirit of gratitude for what God has Blessed us with. Even when times are hard we can always find something to be thankful for. Our attitude of appreciation helps determine our altitude.

Definitely Easter is my favorite. That is when Jesus went to the Cross a Sacrifice for all my sins.

I hate the social pressures that come with Christmas. It's become nothing but a capitalistic money grab.

Thanksgiving to me is the peace of being thankful before the storm that is refreshing with family and friends no matter the age or differences.

Thanksgiving because no matter what religion you profess or whether you even have a religion, you can always get together with family and friends in a spirit of gratitude.

its a tie between Halloween and 4th of July. As a person of a misrepresented and mocked subculture, Halloween is the only time i can walk about in my alter ego without being harassed. 4th of july bc I love pyrotechnics, and lighting the fireworks i purchased for said day makes me feel like a true American.

Considering Kwanzaa is a made up holiday and Christmas and Hanukkah are not even in the same part of the month or same religion, they should all be separate. Christmas is by far the superior holiday even if secularists deny the basic foundation for the holiday itself.

Christmas, I hate how it gets dark like 4 in the afternoon, the cold hurts so much with my bad arthritis. But to see my family open their presents makes me happy.
