Romulus was the first one that actually induced any suspense since the originals. The last fight in the film was insane

I can't tell you how many times I've watched AVP. Its usually my background noise when sleeping. It was such a good story that unfortunately was poorly executed. But I still love it.

I dont remember any of the original really but its easily them. What i do remember is my parents had 2 vhs of my grandfathers he left over. Cop land and alien resurrection. 2 of the most amazing movies i ever seen as a kid. For some reason was not afraid of alien resurrection at all except for maybe that hybrid human alien at the end. It was a little scary for me at the time

OG's without a doubt. 1 and 2 always solid in any form or format. I've grown to appreciate 3 a lot more and 4 is only saved from complete mental erasure by Brad Dourif and Sigourney Weaver's performances. Then they all went off the rails - the AvP movies didn't do either franchise any favours, the prequels were messy (although Covenant got extra credit for effort, because it did flesh out WY a bit more). Romulus gave me hope that somebody actual cares about the franchise and was a solid addition, so looking forward to the show.
