Is human embryo research moral?

@SoniaJbrt

If the baby has died and the parents give their consent for research as to why the baby died, then and only then is it ok. That could save the lives of countless unborn babies.

Please define research

The ‘ends justify the means’ is a road to unfathomable evils.

If it is immoral to sell, experiment and store for personal or corporate gain ( store means to cage, freeze, contain, etc. stash away for later use) a human being at any post-birth age, it is immoral to do the same to any human at any pre-birth age, including embryos.

@Coast-n7x

This is a very poorly worded question.

@jaynewallace8592

How many people who participated in this survey actually know what embryo research is and how it's performed?

3 days ago | 25

@kyleheins

Not as it is currently generally done. Research can be done in many different ways, and should be done in non-destructive ones.

@JoshDuran-m3n

If you can justify the same research on a 4 year old, then yes. Otherwise no.

@intignia

It depends what you mean by embryo research. Will it harm the baby in any way? If not, then do research, but don't hurt the baby.

@Spillers72

They should end both embryo/fetal testing and animal testing.

Does someone harvest the eggs of aborted female fetuses and sell them? Because we are born with them. When you carry your daughter in your womb you also carry your potential grandchildren as well

As long as the research isn’t harmful to human life and helps persevere it in a natural sense then yeah it seems fine. I don’t know what all of human embryo research entails, but that could easily influence my answer if I knew what was happening.

@DerekGreen15

Depends on the nature of the research. If it either begins or ends with the intentional termination of the embryo, then it is unacceptable. If it is roughly equivalent to clinical trials involving any number of diseases looking for treatments of those diseases, then that could result in some great advances in prenatal care.

@herideahomestead

IMO, anything that kills an innocent human being is evil.

To those voting no, do you realize this type of research helps prevent miscarriages as well as certain complications and diseases associated with pregnancy right?

@berlinisvictorious

If you don’t support this research then don’t cry afterwards if your loved one dies of cancer

That is a person! Like EVERYTHING else that research will be ABUSED!

@jamiesehdev2663

Messing with the winders of creation and life!! Nothing is sacred anymore... There's no mystery left in the world as everything is abused and shown on TV?? Telling us about ppl being neither man nor woman?? How's that teaching the kids? It's a blasphemy indeed! And if you speak up wanting things to be normal?? You get attacked and called all kinds??.....

@crispy9175

Totally depends on what the research is. If it's harmful to human (fetal child or mother alike) it's wrong.

@GodPharoh

I'm not too familiar with the subject, so I'm unsure. If it can be done without risk of harm to the embryo, it's probably fine, but if it causes harm or death, then it's definitely evil.
