My apologies for being a bit quiet as of late. Those who joined my latest stream will know that I have been struggling with my health quite a bit as of late. Nothing too serious (although it did feel that way initially), and things are definitely getting better. I will be getting back to grind again soon, but unfortunately December seems to be a lost cause for me.
That being said, I have tons of ideas for new videos. Some of which I will share here so you'll know what I'm working on. Also, feel free to provide feedback or suggestions. What you would like to see, or not. And if any of these topics are interesting to you, etc.
First and foremost, I am making preparations for a big Majora's Mask video. For those of you who've seen my video about the Zelda books, you may remember me saying that I will one day tackle the whole "Termina is dream" thing mentioned in the Zelda Encyclopedia. And well, I think the time is right. I finally have all the assets and tools I need to realize this video. This will be a huge undertaking so there will be other videos before that.
Second, I'm planning to do a few mini-series. I.e. a topic I can split up into multiple parts, similar to The Evolution of Hyrule series. These include a Lore of the Depths series, where I cover all the important ancient architecture in TotK's underworld. I will basically try to piece together what the Depths looked like back in ancient times, how the various buildings were connected, as well as the activities that took place down there. Another idea for a mini-series is a video about the many worlds/dimensions in Zelda (Light World, Dark World, Twilight Realm, Sacred Realm etc. How they function and how they relate to one another.
Speaking of mini-series. I've gotten a lot of requests for a new episode of The Evolution of Hyrule. The problem is... BotW and TotK don't have a clear and definitive timeline placement like the other games do. This series is built on the idea of following the chronology of the games, and see how Hyrule evolved between each installment. I can't really do that with BoTW and TotK, since we don't know which game(s) preceded it. Or whether this Hyrule is the result of a timeline merger, or if it follows one specific timeline branch, or if it's a different reality altogether. I do have some thoughts on it and I will likely give my 2 cents on this matter. But I have no plans for a new Evolution episode until we have a better understanding of the chronological order.
Anyway, these are currently the biggest projects I have planned. I have more ideas on the drawing board as well, and those will release somewhere in between the bigger videos.
Finally, I want to give my sincerest thanks to all my Patreon and Channel members. Your continued support, despite my recent inactivity is truly heartwarming. I'm going to do my absolute best to make 2025 a better, healthier and more productive year for the channel! I owe you that much.
