TCG Bulk Kings

What's your biggest challenge when it comes to inventory management in your trading card business? Are there any tools you've used before that haven't quite worked for you? Were there features you needed for keeping track of your inventory that you were unable to find?

...definitely not fishing for ideas of things to fix for you all lol

@Mason-Berry

I need a digital catalog buylist so people can pick their cards, see what I’m gonna pay them, and then ship a collection to me. It needs to be smart enough to inform them along each of the steps and manage their collection list along with any changes I make.

Adding new cards to a set that's already sorted in my inventory. Can't imagine a better way than to comb through and drop one letter in at a time for sets that are just too big to pull and re-sort in a sorting tray. Always wondered what you did about this Chase.

After spending a big portion of time scanning sorting and organizing last year, I've decided to go with the Chaos sorting theory, it's been a big game changer!

My biggest problem is finding a reasonable solution to scan my cards into inventory reliably without breaking the bank. Most of the reliable solutions do not support using a scanner but rather having to place a card down in front of a camera one by one. I've tried numerous options, but I'm still nowhere. The ideal solution would be to scan cards into Excel and have card information extracted into a list that then goes out into the internet and retrieves the price. I know this can be done and have made a small amount of headway, but it's just outside my skill level of programming. Just haven't yet bothered to pay someone to create these queries for me.

As a new TCG player seller, I’m just about to hit lvl 4 where things may get a little more simple, but with new things come new problems. At lvl 1-3 I’m finding it interestingly difficult to inventory and input cards into tcg player. I’ve currently been using Collectr to keep track of the inventory while obviously having to input each card into tcg player manually until lvl 4. Do big time sellers use anything to assist in keeping inventory card counts organized other than just TCG Player.

My issue is not putting the cards away after sorting and entering them in TCGplayer.

Prob not useful for the video but I'm sure someone will get a giggle out of this. I just hit 51 orders a few days ago, immediately privated my inventory because I want to take advantage of 5$ free shipping and implement a floor price(was selling at tcgplayer low to farm orders) I'm going through the ~10k cards and entering them manually because I need to condition check and sort a lot of my newly aquired inventory anyways and get the absolute most out of every card meaning clicking on every listing to see where I would be on the first page to maximize profits while still getting my store good exposure. Not a long term solution but ive decided this is the best course of action this early in the process... Wish me luck😭
