Первая — у нашего хора новый логотип во всех соцсетях (прикреплен к посту) 🔥
Рассказываем! Кто читал много восточнославянских сказок, наверняка сразу догадался, что за прекрасное создание взмахнуло крылом на нашем логотипе… А тем, кто сразу не признал, представляем чудесную Жар-птицу 🐦🔥
Мы выбрали эту красавицу из-за её общеславянского происхождения, чудесных свойств и музыкальных коннотаций. Её собирательный образ очень точно отражает деятельность хора — Дипломаты песни, несущие послание мира, дружбы и взаимопонимания — столь же прекрасное и желанное, но в то же время столь же труднодостижимое и трудноуловимое, как и сама Жар-птица ✨

YRCAA — англоязычный акроним Ассоциации выпускников Русского хора Йельского университета (Yale Russian Chorus Alumni Association).
Вторая хорошая новость — в конце августа наш хор будет праздновать свое 72-летие традиционным ежегодным концертом (подробности уже на этой неделе) 🎉

Dear friends, it's a week of good news!
First, our Chorus has a new logo on all social media (attached to the post) 🔥
Let us tell you more about it! Those of you who have read many East Slavic fairy tales will surely have guessed right away what beautiful creature flapped its wings on our logo... And for those who did not recognize it right away, we present the wonderful Firebird 🐦🔥
We chose it because of its Slavic origins, magical properties, and musical connotations. Its collective image accurately reflects our Chorus' mission—Diplomats of Song, carrying a message of peace, friendship, and mutual understanding—something as beautiful and desirable, yet as elusive and difficult to achieve as the Firebird itself ✨
Please appreciate the color scheme of the logo 😉
YRCAA is an acronym for the Yale Russian Chorus Alumni Association.
The second piece of good news is that at the end of August, our Chorus will celebrate its 72nd Anniversary with a traditional annual concert (details coming this week) 🎉
