Easter, beneath its modern and Christian layers, carries the fingerprints of ancient solar worship and symbolic manipulation.

Its timing, based on the moon and the spring equinox, reflects long-standing astrotheological rituals tied to the resurrection of the sun and the return of light.

The core narrative of a dying and rising god mirrors earlier myths like Osiris and Tammuz, suggesting a repackaging of ancient spiritual knowledge.

Symbols like eggs and rabbits, once sacred emblems of fertility and divine feminine power, were absorbed and trivialized to strip them of their original meaning while preserving their energetic significance.

Over time, these rituals were reframed to serve religious control systems, shifting humanity’s focus from inner awakening to external salvation.

In this view, Easter becomes part of a larger cycle - an unconscious ritual where collective human energy is directed through symbolism few truly understand, subtly reinforcing patterns of dependency, submission, and spiritual forgetfulness.

Even the word ‘Easter’ is derived from Ostara or Eostre, European goddess of spring, when new life emerges. Maybe we should remember her as well at this time of year.

It's late afternoon in the UK now. I've spent a wonderful day with my dog. Just the two of us down by the river. Time for peace and reflection. Trusting you and the family enjoyed your day. Much love from us ❤️ 🐕

Thanks for sharing this. I spent my "Easter" taking a walk after breakfast and then Mom, Dad and Grandma and I celebrated my birthday with a big lunch, including lamb. I also got a big "Easter" basket full of candy. I also watched some more of season four of The Rockford Files and that is always entertaining.

Jordan Maxwell was the man when it came to symbols & the meaning of words. He also said that the use of the term son of god was translated wrong. The word son should be sun. And in this context it makes more sense. Sun worship predates all religions I think. The word religion comes from the Latin term "religare" which means to bind or to tie back It binds it controls it enslaves with fear & lies. Interesting 🤔

We all know Easter is a pagan holiday! So we chose to celebrate Jesus and each other. The greatest gift is 💞💞

All pagan celebrations from Babylon and continued in the Roman Empire thru the Roman Catholic Church. Jesus has nothing to do with this.

I see Easter 🐣 as symbolic of the consciousness expanding beyond current limitations. Breaking old paradigms to open a new world. Jesus being risen is another symbology

Easter was the Anglo Saxon goddess who brought spring. One year she arrived late and saw a poor bird freezing to death. In her compassion she gave that bird a coat of fur, but it was going to still lay eggs.

Watching a Bill Donahue of Hidden Meanings on Easter made the most sense of it.
