I grew up too poor for anything other than broadcast TV. PBS raised me and it was all I allowed my kids to watch. Wednesday nights my kids were allowed to stay up late to watch NOVA. BEST PROGRAMMING EVER. WE LOVE YOU PBS. Never give up.

Learning to fly, something my instructor drilled into my head was, "Never stop flying the plane." Over the years, I've found this applies to much more in life than just flying airplanes... Please don't stop flying the plane, PBS... We need you more now than ever before.

I grew up watching public television. They played NET programs in my grade school. Watching those, I learned Spanish. I learned music appreciation and theory, science, history, cooking, literature. Now, over 60 years on, I still watch. Iām a member of both my local tv station and my public radio station. PUBLIC BROADCASTING FOREVER!!
