Yeah, the entrance way and staircase were completely different in the pilot episode. It was like when Fresh Prince completely remodeled the house after the first Vivian actress was replaced after 2 or 3 seasons. if I recall, it was a completely different house, but no on air mention of it whatsoever. Jazz made a comment about Vivian though.

Yep, it was where they would sometimes listen to private conversations happening in the kitchen, like Maggie's flirting with Eddie

The whole set makes no sense. One time the kitchen is next to the living room. The other time it's the office with a hall

Not just the Butler’s Pantry- the study where Maggie got caught kissing Eddy only made that one appearance in the pilot. I always wondered why there was a study AND the office, but I think they put the office in later after they were getting the final pilot episode together. If they had kept the butler’s pantry, they wouldn’t have had the issue of the disappearing dining room in all those later episodes!
