I spent a good part of last summer writing topics for the latest edition of Association for Project Management's Body of Knowledge, 8th Edition. And now I have a copy in my hands. Wonderful!
Of course, that means I cannot review it objectively - I wrote around half the topics! But it is excellent - a fantastic sourcebook of knowledge and ideas for project professionals. And our brief as writers was to focus on accuracy and clarity of information. It is easier to read, yet more packed with information that previous editions. And a big +1 for each of the type-setting and graphics.
I am looking forward tremendously to interviewing APM CEO, Prof. Adam Boddison OBE, to learn what the 8th Edition and Body of Knowlegde programme in general can tell us about how APM sees the future of project management.
