If if brings you joy in life and harms no one, dont worry about it. I have my camera collection too. An outsider wouldn't understand it, but these cameras have meaning and they bring back memories. Nothing wrong with that. Life is short, so enjoy it.

I bought the original E-M5 in 2013, then traded it when I bought the E-M5 Mk.II in 2015. I did not like the design of the E-M5 Mk.III (and OM-5), so I never bought any of those. However this new OM-5 Mk.II looks great. Currently the original OM-1 and the PEN-F are the only M43 cameras I own, but I have 13 M43 lenses so I am considering reducing that number a little.

Seems like we have the same problem, i started my 4/3 collection with a Panasonic GH4 to see how good the system is, i don't have that camera anymore as i gifted it to a family member that is serving in the United States Air Force, that camera led me to buy the original G9 and G95, i then went on to purchase the Olympus OM1 MKII ,EM5 MKIII, OM1 MKIII, EM10 MKIV, OM SYSTEMS OM1 MK1 and a G9 Mk MKII. this only represents the 4/3 camera bodies, i have Pentax DSLR'S and mirrorless cameras from different manufacturers.

I got rid of about 50 cameras in the last 9 months. I don't regret it because I had more than I had time to use them. Ended up with so many chargers and batteries to maintain it was no longer practical.
