Still sick but the "Homestuck Anti-Christ" has just been birthed (credit to ‪@deejus_e‬ for coining the name) as the coalition of terror that is Homestuck (Gen 1 bad internet fandom) is getting an animated pilot soon, with songs and the voice of the main character by Toby "I made Undertale and helped contribute to Homestuck so this isn't a surprise" Fox (One of the progenitors of the Gen 2 of bad internet fandoms), but in order to get the funding, Vivziepop's studio Spindle... roo is producing it. (Vivziepop is one of the harolds of the Gen 3 of bad internet fandoms with her Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel shows)
I mean this all makes sense given the current climate, but I think what's funny is that there are small and more nuanced things less terminally online people miss that will make this fandom *worse* than people expect, which says a lot since people already expect the worst.
I'm personally excited to see how tumultuous this will be, how scared are you?
