Smash chess. I don't have a clue how it would work, but it sounds weird enough to be interesting.

Smash Uno: Everyone has an actual uno hand, and each color represents a different direction (up, down, left, right). Whenever you play a card, you move to whatever character's "space" is the number on the cards spaces away in the direction of that color. A skip means that whoever gets skipped has to SD once, a reverse means you play whatever character you played last, and a plus two does regular plus two things, but you move 2 spaces in that direction. A wild lets you move 2 spaces in any direction, and a plus 4 lets you move 4 in any direction. I have no clue if this is balanced or fair, but it sounds like fun.

I think all of these are top notch, it is a good twist that can be done often without being highly redundant

Uno smash: you pick a bunch of characters and try to win with all of them before everyone else

I think connect 4 but with “gravity” so the selected squares fall would be more interesting, I think it would force the players to play together and block each other more because the spaces are more contested. A rule where each character can only be played once by anyone would probably also be interesting for this. Clue smash hits too though

Honestly just the normal smash board game with doubles and wacky rules is wonderful!

Interesting video idea, all four of you get so many randomly chosen characters, then you play random mega smash or something. If you get one of your characters and you win, you get a point, if you lose, you get a handicap, random from a list chosen by dice roll. First to a set amount of points, or most at the end of the video wins.
