A TSA/FAA approved carrier definitely comes in handy even if you’re not flying. If you are traveling internationally, it’s a good idea to have vaccine records on hand. Non-toxic wipes are also always good idea to have on hand because accidents do happen! If your cat needs medication ensure you have enough medication to last the trip and then some just in case.

🐱☀️ CAT SAFETY TIPS: Summer + Travel
Traveling in the heat can be stressful for cats, so here are a few ways to keep them safe and comfortable:
🧳 Use a secure, well-ventilated carrier
🚗 Never leave them in a parked car — not even for a minute
💧 Offer water often, and pack a travel bowl or bottle
🌤️ Keep carriers out of direct sun and off hot pavement
🫶 Bring familiar comforts (like a favorite blanket or toy) to ease anxiety
Even the most independent cats need a little extra care when the temperatures rise. 🐾
