This was our first sale β€”
and our first lesson.

When a wood supplier believes he can split the profit with us 50/50 per piece… well, no...

We preferred give the wood second life... but he showed up and sow our skills...

There is a general rule in craft: the final price should be roughly four and a half times the cost of the materials. On top of that, we must account for taxes, labour, and the hidden costs of production.

Anything beyond that drifts into ideology, not business.
Or at least not a business model I’m willing to sign up for.
Too many red flags.

Trees have existed far longer than we have.
They know their worth.
They stand tall, patient, rooted.
They’ve given us so much β€” homes, furniture, warmth, structure.

They should never be exploited.

And neither should people.
