Health and healing to you, my Canadian friend. I live in the Detroit area and I swear I've seen you stateside hanging out at various events over the years. I dig the Yt show, your voice plays in my head whenever I think about changing pickups "It's not the pickups!!!"

Just saw your video explaining the situation. Take care of your family, my dude. I'll make sure to throw some of your videos on in the background during band practice 🫶

Do I have to make ANOTHER psa about keeping balls out of blenders? Merely joking to lighten the mood. Hope all turns out for the better.

Do what you have to do brother! I get it 1000%. My wife battled cancer several years ago and I have a 16 year old son who will never get past 6 year old mentality. Husbands and dads do what has to be done first and the rest can wait. Sending much love to you and yours. I've had a window open playing your lists since seeing last post. Keep Glenn in the YouTube sphere!!

Best to you both from this guy from the other side of the Detroit River from you. Had no idea we were “neighbors”. (Also had no idea I wasn’t subscribed (until now)) I know engagement helps, right? Here’s some comment for the algorithm: I recently turned my tube amp and pedal soldering experience into 8-bit console repair, just so I could have all that stuff we couldn’t afford when I was a kid in the 70s/80s. Fun thing hearing that you guys met via C64. Those systems have integrated well into my wood-panel basement studio, where I run an outdated iMac that I modded to high heaven after getting it for free from a school. Logic Pro X works fine for my uses - I just disable the auto-updates and remember I’m not paying $250 for 15min of Ampex. (I studied studio engineering in the early 90s, just in time to not get a job doing it. I definitely put that education to use in bands over the years.) December’s project is to identify and resolder all my bad audio cables. Anyway, take care of your lady and come back strong!

I've had your videos on blast 24/7 for the past 3 days. My data use has skyrocketed and will soon go over the limit. Consider it a donation. I'm sending good thoughts and vibes to you and your wife. To everyone else, keep playing Glenn's vids.

Take care of her. That comes first. Suggestion for you - if some of your friends are up for it ask them to do some vids. It may not be you but if they want to help that would definitely help.

Your wellbeing and your wife’s recovery take precedence over song reviews. Take whatever time you need.

Hi Glenn, I'm so sorry to hear about your wife. Life is definitely too short, and i completely agree that our loved ones are the most important and need to be a priority. I'd be more than happy to let your videos run as much as possible, as you, sir, are an absolute legend. I can't stress enough how much I enjoy watching/listening to your show. Take care, Glenn. Hope to see you back soon.

Get well soon to your wife. May she be one of the people who manages to make a full recovery 🤞

Saw the video and unfortunately I’m going through the same with my mom (make all the bassist jokes you want). She’d suffered a “minor” stroke (yeah, I don’t understand either) and it’s been hell this past year for her to rehab herself and get her to where she once was. On top of dealing with that, we’d noticed that she’s now suffering from dementia and keeps forgetting who I am or where she is. The best thing you can do is to be there for them and tell your wife not to give up. Wishing for the best Glenn and hopefully life doesn’t again slap us in the face like a wet “noodle”.

Apologies to everyone expecting a livestream tonight... I'm in the middle of "crisis mode" at the moment and forgot to un-schedule the stream. The mix review show will return in a few weeks and eveyrone WILL get thier song reviewed. Please bear with me, but this is an actual "life and death" situation.
