Hey! I’m SKYPATROL1ONE, but I go by Sky. For about a year now, I’ve been absent from the channel, last uploading on the channels 6th anniversary, teasing an upcoming mix. It turns out, 2023 had different plans in store for me. However, I’m back! With a caveat. 2024 will be the last year I make and upload mashups for the foreseeable future. This doesn’t mean I’ll stop mashups forever or that they’ll never pop up on the channel, but I’ve always liked doing lots of things and this hobby has run its course for me. However, I won’t be abandoning this channel. After the year is finished, I will be pivoting away from mashup based content and begin to upload variety content. This means you’ll be seeing more of my face, and more of the stories I have to tell. Now ‘variety’ has a connotation in Youtube spaces, but I wanna clarify what variety is to me. Variety is narrative story-telling, and creating worlds. I want to be able to transport the watcher, you, to new worlds, whether it’s based in fiction or reality. I’ll also be creating original music eventually, no timeline on that but I’m excited to learn about the process. I also have plans outside of this channel, that you’ll have to stay tuned to find out about. This journey and the friends I’ve made along the way have been life changing, and I’ll be forever grateful for the lessons I’ve learned on the way here. Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to spread my wings and feel welcomed. Stay alive, stay broken, and stay frosty!
