Chronic pain (neck and now hip) from too much exercise. Felt achy and restricted for last year and a half. Confusing weight gain and bloating no matter how hard I tried 'dieting' and calorie restricting. I finally went to a functional health naturopath finding out I had zero estrogen and progesterone. Then I can across your fasting protocol catered to a woman for the past weeks and it has been a paradigm shift. I'm about to start a five day fast in attempt to rid my body of this chronic pain in my hip (4 months with PT, chiro, NUCCA, massage nothing helps). I'm grateful for your research and sharing fantastic information and all the positive change you're bringing to so many. A heartfelt thank you. ❤

I'm in perimenopause and joint pain and belly fat are two big issues. I'm extremely active and I find hiking difficult now. Hips and knees especially (it feels "heavier" to walk/hike).

In full menopause for years now. Hot flashes where the beginning for me but the worst was heart palpitations and a general feeling of apathy towards everything. It's been up and down for a few years but it's starting to get better!

I have no energy to do what I normally do, I’m pissed off all the time, everyone and everything irritates me, I have no patience, I hate people, I can’t remember anything! I’m so glad my husband loves me because I don’t even like me anymore 😫

I’m on HRT for 6 months now. There are certain brands that do NOTHING!! I have to go through a lot to just get what works. The weight gain is not going away. I am an avid walker! Walking helps me a lot. The more steps I get in the better. I have a lot of hip pain, but I have learned that sitting makes it worse. Consistent hip mobility exercise has to be done. All of this is very weary and tiring. It’s a full time job trying to just feel normal . 😢

Loss of “joy”… it’s in my heart but not my attitude. Belly fat increase. Even running doesn’t help. Looooow libido 😢

V. dryness was the hardest before starting HRT. Even after a while in HRT. But it got better after a while. Also the fatigue and the big belly... Still adjusting, while with 2 young children, as this season started at 39 for me unfortunately.

Where do I start… I feel like I’ve experienced all the ugly associated with menopause …just glad I started my own research and started taking Prempro. And lots of supplements. It has absolutely helped!! Feel so much better

I would say knowing about the bone loss… that’s hit me the hardest. I was already osteopenic before menopause 😫 I’ve been blessed to have very mild hot flashes in perimenopause and I noticed when I changed my diet it made a huuuge difference. Don’t really get them now and I’m 55-almost 56, last menses at 49. The V dryness -just using the estradiol suppository is perfect

I am able to manage almost every symptom with BHRT... except the belly fat and I'd also like to see my libido a little higher (it seems to go up and down).

I've been through most of them, 4 years in. The worst was the panic attacks and heart palpitations when I was peri and then they resurfaced when I was going through serious bullying at work. My diet and Vagus nerve meditations are definitely helping and now on a mission to lower Cortisol 🙏

The set-up: CPTSD and PCOS, lifelong depression and obesity which were only minimally addressed by medicos. "Eat less move more, cut the carbs" Sudden weight gain of 45 ish lbs shortly before onset of menopause which I attributed to circumstances not hormones. Only in the last 6 years I learned about how much cortisol and stress drive binging, cravings and fat storage.

Entering the last quarter of my life and being ok with that , even though it's a little scary. Aging gracefully without pain and being bloody productive 👏 👌

All of the “normal” symptoms - in a blink of an eye like overnight brain fog, joint pain, skin issues, weight gain, muscle loss, hair loss, severe depression, hot flashes, lethargy WITHOUT ANY RESOLUTION.

My lack of willpower is very frustrating. Weight gain is horrible. What worked in perimenopause is not working at all in post-menopause. The lack of any information about post menopause when I had a total hysterectomy a year and a half ago due to a very large tumor. I was already an intermittent faster. I love the lifestyle. But my weight gain is requiring a whole new approach to IF. Thank you Dr. Mindy for the post-menopausal guidance for the proper IF schedule and tips on limiting carbs to 50 net per day. Plus protein cycling. Thank you! I need guidance on your advice for HRT when you have a total hysterectomy.

Physical issues in peri - which I found put in retrospect. I had frozen shoulder and now RA. Certainly belly fat is now a concern too.
