Force Gaming

Played through all of Diablo IV on my new LG UltraGear monitor, it's been great. If you want more immersion (and vision) while playing D4, check out LG UltraGear's OLED gaming monitor here: bit.ly/3MNects #ad #LGUltraGear #OLEDGamingMonitor

@griffMcTall

I also need to throw out how great ultrawide is. It makes you feel so much more in to whatever you're doing with the extra fov. I recommend it to everyone.

Been using a 48” LG CX OLED TV as my monitor for 2.5 years now. It’s amazingly good and so much better than any LCD/LED monitor I’ve ever owned. Sit about three feet away from it, so it’s massive, lol. No burn-in either after all the many hours of gaming on it over the years.

My friends never see the butcher and treasure goblins before me, or they totally miss the goblin, the elite, the drop, the etc. all together 😆. Ultrawide for life. To anyone on the fence, there’s a reason films are shot at a ratio that’s very close to the ultrawide 21:9 ratio… immersion. It’s a viewing experience that’s closer to our natural peripheral vision too. Sprinting thru a building on COD, checking corners and doors that are already halfway on your screen means less turning your camera to check that corner or door

Once you go ultra wide, you never go back.

I just bought the new Samsung oled 21:9. The difference is quite huge. But the price was butthurt tbh.

The only downside of these is that its 1440p which starts to feel not that great if you shill out top dollar for high end gaming. I will upgrade my current monitor once we get into the monitor sized oleds in 4k high refreshrate. And since i am gaming on 4k ips for the last four years i could not justify going back in resolution even if its oled.

@CausticTitan

Force, how do games handle the ultrawide? Is your field of view increased, or is the game stretched to fill? It seems from this photo like the monitor gives a pretty distinct advantage

@MasterJohnam

Any sponsor codes for this monitor? Looks good.

I'm gonna get it on my series S just because it'll be more chill, it'll be nice to play controller from somewhere other than my desk.

I haven't been playing diablo 4 because paying 70 dollars for game to then get every build I make get nerfed and then have fomo the whole time I look at the 600$+ thinking: Should I buy them all? No. When will they become p2w? Year 2?
