(Read the last paragraph! šŸ˜) JVN turns 4 today, a whole Olympic cycle old! In the celebrity brand world this is actually very old, and in some ways I personally feel 400 šŸ˜‚ This journey has taught me just how resilient, capable, and brave I am, on a daily basis.

We Love the Hair You Have is our mantra, and every single angle of our business’s purpose is to allow you to celebrate and express your beauty. For too long, the fashion and beauty industry has gatekept who gets to be celebrated, and as long as you support our brand we will keep making prestige, salon-worthy products at an accessible price point for all hair types!

In the times we live in, we need opportunities to celebrate ourselves and each other so we can stay plugged into the world around us.

To celebrate, I’m giving away 3 full sets of the collection. Tell me about your hair journey or your JVN journey in the comments, and we’ll pick 3 of you to win. We wouldn’t be here without you! Love y’all 🫶

@SarahEaden

I've always had curly/wavy hair that is prone to unruliness and frizz that never really looked "put together". During my second pregnancy, my hair grew out completely straight! I had always wanted straight hair but when mine went straight I actually missed my curly hair. Luckily, after 3 years, I've finally cut off the last of my straight hair and it's back to it's curly/waviness! I'm determined to embrace my natural hair and have been watching all the curly hair tutorials, including yours! I appreciated when you mentioned that you don't have to follow all the curly "rules" and to just do what works best for your own hair!

Ever since finding your hair care tutorials on YouTube in 2022 and subsequently purchasing your hair products, my hair has never been better - shinier, healthier, bouncier! I'm 40 years old and have never been complimented more on my hair than I have been since using your products! I feel like I finally know how to protect it and style it with the right products, and take care of it at night (silk or satin pillowcase and silk or satin scrunchie with a loose top bun at night for the win!) I'm a JVN product user for life now! šŸ˜™

I love that your brand embraced natural texture and that you were always fine with a little frizz. It’s the imperfections that make us beautiful and I’m so happy to be a returning customer of a brand that accepts us just as we areā¤

Congratulations JVN. I always believed your product was outstanding because YOU are outstanding and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Thank you for making a product that EVERYONE from all different backgrounds can use and enjoy. I haven’t tried your products yet, but I am looking forward to it. I lost my hair due to chemo and breast cancer. I am still fighting the battle, and I am happy and grateful that I am still alive. I have a little peach fuzz now, but my hair is coming back.

CONGRATULATIONS JVN!!!!WOOHOO!!! My hair is dry and sucks up moisture fast. I've been getting more and more grey the last several years. I used to get a spiral perm pretty frequently for most of my life. At 51, I'm scared to perm and/or color. My hair has a natural wave, and it's long. Ash blonde/grey. Rocking a perm was a very easy style. But now, I just don't know what to do with it.

Congratulations! You've overcome so many hurdles like a true Olympianā¤ļø My journey with JVN started because I have two girls with curly, frizzy hair and I was on a journey to find products to help define their curls and also keep down the frizz while being lightweight as well. Your airdry cream works wonders, and I've used a few other items from your collection myself. Thank you for making clean, awesome products!

Congratulations! Here’s to many more years of success! My hair journey has been all over the place. I spent the early 2000s trying to get my hair straight and for the last six years I’ve been embracing the curly/wavy hair I didn’t even know I had. Always trying to wrangle the frizz and keep my hair healthy and my routine simple. I’ve done a lot of different styles, colors and lengths and right now I’m kinda bored with my hair. Medium/long length, boring haircut, no color or highlights, fried from hard water. Not horrible, but not feeling myself. I need some inspiration!

4 years! šŸŽ‰ I’ve been using JVN since the fall of 2021, which was a rough time for me medically- but at least my hair looked good! Except for a total bleach fail a couple years later but that’s on me and will never be repeated… probably. I think it’s using your products that helped my hair be healthy enough to not fall out when I did that. Also, I’m not allergic to any products I have used and that really nice. I love everything I’ve tried and love supporting you! Thank you, Jonathan!

Congratulations on 4 years! šŸŽ‰ And thank you for launching at Ulta so that I could get my hands on Air Dry Cream in my cute little farm town. This year I have finally decided to embrace my waves! As long as I can remember I’ve either wanted stick straight hair or even curlier hair. I didn’t understand how to be in between. This meant straightening or using a curling iron every day 🄵. Your videos and shorts have helped me understand products and techniques in order to love my hair the way she is. Please and thank you for more JVN products!!

Congrats!!! I’ve been on quite the journey with my hair. I used to get it chemically straightened, and I grew up not seeing anybody with hair like mine. I went through a curly hair journey and at the beginning of it, a little girl looked at me and said ā€œyou have Moana’s hair!ā€ And it meant to much for someone to recognize the type of hair I have. I now love wearing my hair curly and I am so confident in my curls!

I remember watching one of your tutorials for curly waves and you told us to, ā€œembrace the frizz!!ā€ I was VERY SKEPTICAL, but I love my fluffy, crazy, and yes, frizzy hair more than ever! You’ve helped shift the thinking on my hair to celebrate what I have!! 😊

Congratulations JVN 🄳🄳🄳 and you are such a beautiful human being šŸ’— my hair journey has been a long one! I used to dye my hair so much & wouldn't put any healthy products in my hair. Several years ago I stopped dying my hair & started putting love into my hair! Its so healthy tod

Congratulations!! I always struggled with products feeling so heavy and weighing down my fine hair, until I tried the JVN air dry cream!! It’s been a serious game changer that I’ve preached to everyone I know. I then asked for your hair/scalp oil that has seriously helped out this eczema girly! Next stop is getting into JVN shampoo 😊

I purchased JVN because how much I loved JVN as a human—I had no idea I would fall in love with the product as much as I did when I first watched Jonathan on Queer Eye Season 1 🄹 when I first purchased JVN I spoiled myself and got A LOT so I was able to try each product..I was a mom to 3 kids and didn’t take time to take care of my hair properly since I had the kids. JVN taught me to take that time for myself and use the good products with real ingredients that actually made my psoriasis better! ā¤ I’ll always use your productsšŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰ The way it took my hair from dull and no volume to the best hair days of my life was confidence changing. It helped me to feel beautiful a

Happy Birthday, JVN Hair! I have tried almost every single JVN product over the last 4 years & turned several friends & family members on to the JVN brand. The Repair line is my favorite, but I use everything depending on what my hair needs are.

Right now, I'm in a rough place with my hair. I'm 48 and have been dealing with a lot of excess shed and loss from my lupus, and this year, my lupus has been turbocharged unfortunately, so now I'm taking methotrexate (which is a chemotherapy drug that suppresses your immune system) so I'm having even MORE hair loss. It's so hard to see it get thinner and not hold its natural curl anymore and it doesn't help my self esteem when I already feel like damaged goods from all the awful ways lupus is stealing my sparkle. I don't mean to be a downer, but im in a rough place right now and felt sharing honestly was more important than putting on a fake, happy face.

Congrats on 4 years JVN!! I fell in love with you watching season 1 of queer eye and have followed you throughout all the seasons. I love the self love/care advice you give the contestants and love that you created the hair care line. My struggle with my hair has always been hair loss/thinning especially during times of stress Also love that the hair care line launched on my birthdayšŸŽ‰

I have trichotilomania, a mental health condition that makes me pick my hair out so much I get bald patches. For this reason, I have kept my hair in a pixie for the last 15 years. Hair products can be a sensory overload for me. When I discovered JVN air dry cream I was THRILLED! It keeps my pixie looking great and doesn’t weigh down my fine hair. This overstimulated queen is a forever customer. šŸ’œ
