Polyfjord

Hello! I am making a Q&A video, so please ask me a question in this post!

The video will have questions from three categories:

1) Blender & opinions on tech
2) Personal & emotional questions about life
3) Literally any random question you can think of (be as unhinged as you like)

So please ask me a question, and it might be included in the upcoming video! 🧠

@John_Renard

They're some questions about Unreal Engine👾 What do you think about new Motion Design tools in Unreal Engine 5.4? Is the simulation system so good there that it can be used in commercial video projects? Can you make a review/tutorial on the capabilities of UE5 in filmmaking (that would be very useful ❤️)

1) The answer would probably be "Try mix and matching", but if I were to try and start a more or less big modeling project would you recommend destructive or non destructive modelling? Last time I tried to make a rather complex scene in blender (I had robotic, sci-fi-ish setting) I ended up making a lot of copies of the same model applying modifiers and geonodes on copied models and continuing working from there and if I needed to change the base mesh I'd grab one that still has it's modifiers, change what I need and copy again applying all the modifiers, but it feels like there should be a better approach 2) So I know that if I want to get something done it's a good practice to work on it every day to make it a habit, but if I have several projects would you recommend switching around so that I don't get bored working on one thing or to focus on one project to get it done first and then continue working on other projects? 3) Did you know that mixing sour cream and mustard results in a really neat sauce (especially good with dumplings and such)?

@Purpial

This isn't a question, but seriously, thank you for making your blender tutorials. They have been the cornerstone of making me feel confident in my 3d work. If I'm ever feeling burnt out or at a loss of what I should be making, I can always get work and learn something new with your videos

I know it’s important to consider what you should do when you’re trying to get better at blender, but what are a few things you should NOT do when trying to get better? What decisions might be terrible for progress

#Qna What keeps you going on a project. I know some other channels explain how you need references and planing, but once you run into a problem, what is your process to fix it and what motivates you to keep going.
