Gardening Experiments with Mind & Soil

Garden Gang!

Just a quick note to let everybody know there won't be a new video this weekend BUT there's a lot coming up!

I had a really nice little vacation last week in Tofino (and stocked my freezer with fish for the year), and am giving myself a bit of a ramp up week right now. I was just going through the garden and there are TONS of experiments nearing completion and I already have experiment videos planned until the end of October. So stay tuned for all that!!

In the meantime, what's growing best in your garden right now?!

Big love! Jord

@spontaneousun

Mid-Atlantic USA — All of my herbs with the exception of basil are doing well, especially my dill and fennel. I think this is the first year I’ve had a really healthy supply at the same time that my pickling cucumbers are ready by the basket so I’m very pleased! The basil is okay, but I think the it is more sensitive to the drought, deluge, crazy high humidity, intense heatwave cycle we’ve had this spring/ summer than my other herbs. Excited to see what experiment results you have in store!

Hope you have a video about the HUGE LEAF growing out of your mouth! I'd like to know what type kale/collard/ collard tree it is and grow one like it!! (but not out of my mouth!)

Experiments until October! That's some impressive planning and coordination. Big items right now: Tomatoes, Dry Corn, Peppers, Amaranth, Squash, and Squirrels (I do not want that last one growing, but oh well)
