I don't want to take all the credit, go support youtube.com/@lavenderhearts for their amazing ambient works, that last scene wouldn't have worked as well without that track (I'm not even sure if they know I used it yet lol. I've tried to contact them multiple ways about it to no response so I just decided to put that last part in the description as a compromise)
Here are some early concept sketches I found. To my detriment, I find I come up with most of my ideas in the moment my eyes are closed in bed right before I fall asleep. I have to quickly rouse myself enough to scribble them in a notebook before I forget them. Maybe it’s because it’s one of the few moments in the day not bombarded by the vicissitudes of daily life.
