I think the videos are simple enough for me, but not knowing a lot of the terms used makes it harder to understand as a beginner

It depends on the what YOU want your target audience to be. If you are going for beginner levels and you are melting brains, you are too advanced for them. Keep in mind that you cannot please everyone all the time. One person complains, blow off. If most say the same thing, listen. As a viewer, I wish more channels had intermediate and advanced level content. We don't need another beginner channel.
