There’s a kind of hunger the world can’t fill. A thirst that no message, no attention, no human love — no matter how sincere — can satisfy.
But Jesus says, “Whoever drinks the water I give will never thirst again.” (John 4:14)
And suddenly it makes sense.
No wonder my heart felt tired. No wonder I kept longing for consistency, for reassurance, for someone to choose me fully.
I was sipping from empty wells while the Living Water stood beside me.
Jesus is the Bread of Life. (John 6:35) He is the One who fills the places unanswered messages can’t reach. The One who satisfies the hunger that no relationship can fix.
And blessed are those who hunger and thirst for Him — for they will be filled. (Matthew 5:6)
Today, I choose to anchor my heart not on who comes and goes, not on who sees or ignores, but on the One who never changes, never withdraws, never forgets.
Because the season I’m in is teaching me to be undivided — to care more about pleasing God than chasing anyone else’s attention. (1 Corinthians 7:32–35)
And in that place, I find peace. I find clarity. I find love — the kind that stays.
