The story starts on a different timeline of Stage 7 where Josie breaks up with Dan. Instead of insisting to apologize to her, Dan finally understands the things he've done and gives up. After that, Josie occupates herself with her job in the inn to forget about Dan.
Meanwhile that, the Advisor organized a project named Project Florae, he tricks everyone into believing that this project was to save the nature while behind all that, he was going to turn everyone into plant-like hybrids. Josie was invited to be one of the many scientists (alongside the villagers) in the scientific facility, but after one year, she found out that there was prisoners being used as guinea pigs for experimentos and after checking out the Advisor's secret laptop, she was shocked about the truth.
Josie then tried to escape from the lab only to be chased by the scientists and trapped in her own personal lab for safety. In a desperate attempt, she presses a self-destruction button and the facility explodes.
Josie survived at the high cost of becoming the first plant-like hybrid, but people (including Dan) though she was dead so when she tried to reconnect with the society, no one remembered her. Heartbroken, she went back to the nature never to be seen again until one day, her mind finally broke. Out of rage and sadness, Josie renamed herself as Poisie Ivy ("Poisie" out of "Poison" and "Josie") and plotted revenge on humanity, also transforming them into plant-like hybrids too with the only survivor being Dan.
This version of Josie has no children because her transformation left her body infertile, so she considers her plants and orphan kids her childs. She also wants to make amends with Dan and restart with him, but he doesn't remember her much to her frustration.
