Zero debts, own my house 100% own my car 100% and have money in the bank I'm 51 now but if I had to start all over again there is no way I could afford to ever own a house or a car. Governments have done a number on the younger generations I believe it won't belong before every eventually loses their homes, everything especially in light of the 2030 plan

Of course. The only debt I have is backed by assets (stock in my company) which are returning a much higher return than my interest rate. I have no intention on paying off my debt :)

Just some basic credit card debt that gets paid off slightly ahead of schedule. I can't afford to pay it all off at once but I keep it's usage to a manageable level.

This divorce 2 years ago is turning into custody disputes now! Child support just came to an end though.

Nope and I probably never will. Only reason you should ever have debt is after buying a house, but you can always just buy an apartment and save up instead. No debt involved

SOME debt is useful. Robert Kiyosaki would argue that debt that is used to fund fruitful enterprise - such as start up capital for a business - is an obvious and good thing. Debt for door dash is something else entirely.

I was debt free and had everything paid off until I quit my job of 7 years to look for something new, saved up several thousand dollars and I had another several thousand in stocks and crypto. Took me so long to find a job (I submitted HUNDREDS of applications) that by the time I got a job I was down to 7 cents. Ended up working minimum wage so I had to decide what bills I wanted to stop paying and potentially impact my credit score, then my phone broke so I traded it in where I was told I could walk out the door with a brand new s24 for $190 so I took the deal and it turned out I actually still had to pay them $2000 over 48 months. Then my car started having radiator issues, then I got laid off from two separate jobs the first one so they could put a female in my position and the second one they laid off half the workers and replaced us with Hispanics, and to top it all off my rent has increased almost 40% since I quit. I'm making more now than I was when I quit my job of 7 years and yet I'm living paycheck to paycheck and in debt because everything has gotten so much more expensive and my bills went up. In summary life has been kicking my ass since 2023, sometimes I feel like one of my ancestors cursed my family line.

All good debt, though no bad debt. Everything i have debt on is appreciating higher than the interest I'm paying
