On a side note, it's possible that at least part of the reason the MLB extractor stopped working is because mlb.tv/ has changed, albeit subtly. I noticed that the format labels for all the different broadcasts as well as their bitrates have changed, and exclusive national telecasts are now labeled as home, in line with the fact that the national telecast overrides the home team telecast as the default telecast. Some changes were definitely being made to MLB.TV's infrastructure, but at this point, it's no longer particularly important.

My apologies again for the extremely late follow-up, but it came to attention just today that yt-dlp from the stable releases on August 1st onward have fixed the issues affecting the application's MLB.TV extractor.
Granted, there's nothing I can say that can excuse the fact that I did not notice this until the final day of the season, but I'm glad it's working again.
