WLtoys 124019 Update - I've been quiet on the videos this past week or two, but ve been working on getting this wltoys running again.
After the crash in the last video, the Xteam 3665 (4500kv) suffered a smashed Rotor.
I had a spare 3665 xteam motor, but 3800kv. So I swapped over the good Rotor into the 4500kv can.
I do have a more powerful XTeam 3674 motor, which will go in soon. I just felt like I had some unfinished business with the 3665, before switching it out.
The centre driveshaft got twisted and buckled in the crash when the motor seized, so that has been replaced. Along with a snapped CVD.
I've also made up a 3mm Carbon Fibre chassis plate to replace the tired and buckled aluminium plate.
Next task will be painting the new Body shell. Going for something a bit different, and I can't wait to see how it turns out!
Oh, I also made an impulse buy after spotting a used bargain 🙈 completely unplanned, but I have a Carbon fibre Rlaarlo AK-917 coming soon.
