a.i. was being advertised since the 50's, and Jiddu Krishnamurti was telling about how the computer will advance beyond human in certain activities in the 80s and Alan Watts spoke on automation in the 90s or so, then Terrence McKenna and Timothy Leary came along with transhumanism, so the funneling into what it is has come in waves for decades cartoons like the Jetsons and Nightrider were marketing AI, then there was a movie titled AI, so we as a populous have been inundated by this covert operation for 80 years, it will sweep over a century before we know it any push for more technological advancements is either a sign of human decline or a last leg in control, meanwhile, it will come and go like dvds and cds or become commonplace and lower value to the point of being insignificant in the next quarter century for either the next or whatever else is the subsequent leg to the last right before something creates a significant shift. the rise in the demand for quality, creativity, human intelligence, tangible things, trades and crafts that deal in ingenuity, and things of nostalgia will have an upsurge.

What if AI replaced the jobs that created it? AI in my prediction would take all calculation, banking, finance, & coding jobs. All other labor jobs will still be there. Building, repair, & specialized jobs will still be in play. I don't even think it will take driving jobs.

I don’t believe in the extinction of humanity. The Bible states a much different outcome. AI will, however, make human life very difficult in the future. And the data centers being built to support AI will consume resources not fully considered. Buckle up!

Such BS, pathetic doomers with little imagination… AI (or what used to be called cyberengineering, ok AI branding sounds better) will liberate humans from labor and open new horizons for discovery, arts… all the way to finally becoming a type I civilization
