🌿 A Little Update from Me - 7 Months Later (Dec, 2025)🌿
Hey everyone,
Back in May I shared that I was on the verge of burnout, and sadly, despite all the signs, I didn’t manage to listen to my body enough. Things slowly got worse over the summer, and since mid-October I’ve officially been on sick leave from work due to a burnout.
That’s also why you’ve mostly seen supercuts on the channel lately, along with a few first look videos. Unfortunately, that’s all I’ve been able to handle at the moment. Dealing with a burnout simply doesn’t make you feel creative, and I’ve barely even been able to even enjoy playing games in general.. Luckily, editing those supercuts youtube.com/playlist?list=PLv... and doing the occasional first look was just enough to keep the channel going without fully draining myself.. I really hope you’ve still enjoyed them during this quieter time. 🙏❤️
I want to thank you all for the continued support and understanding over the past few months. It honestly means the world to me! ❤️ I’m still in the middle of recovering, and learning how to take things slower, and not stress myself out when there isn’t a lot of content on the channel right now. So for now, things will still stay a bit quiet, with maybe one or two videos left for 2025. I really do hope I’ll be able to slowly start creating again in the new year and enjoy gaming in general, little by little.. 🙏
For now I'm obviously wishing you all a beautiful Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year 🎄. Let’s hope we all enter 2026 in a better place, with more balance, happiness, peace, and good moments with the people (and animals!) we love.. and fully ready for Planet Zoo 2 when it launches later in 2026. 🙏😊
Some of you may have noticed that my regular Planet Zoo content has been a lot less frequent lately, and I just wanted to give you a little update about that. I’ve really been struggling with my creativity in Planet Zoo. Especially with the release of the new Americas Animal Pack, I’ve received a lot of kind messages asking if I plan to create something, and trust me, the will is definitely there, but unfortunately, the energy and creativity just aren’t.
The truth is, I’ve come to realize that I’m currently on the verge of burnout. I’m feeling pretty overworked, and it’s affecting both my creativity and my day-to-day life.
That said, creating content on YouTube is very important to me financially, so I’m trying to find a new rhythm that allows me to keep going without completely draining myself. I’m considering shorter, more manageable videos, like maybe some beginner tutorials mixed with normal zoo tours, along with supercut zoo tours that offer a longer, more relaxed experience for those who like to put on a video while playing Planet Zoo… or even to fall asleep to (whatever works for you, haha). If you have any tutorial ideas or feel like something else is missing on the channel, I’d love to hear it! And if you have requests for supercuts or other (not-too-creatively demanding) zoo content, I’m all ears.
If I do happen to find the energy to return to ongoing series like Eco Island Park or Caribbean Zoo, it will most likely be in a very simple style, basic building, light commentary, no complex naming or management, just keeping things as easy and stress-free as possible for myself.
Right now, I’m shifting my focus more toward games like Foundation, and hopefully soon Manor Lords, and other titles that are a bit quicker and less demanding to create content for. If you have game suggestions you think I’d enjoy, feel free to share those too!
I really hope for your understanding, even if it means that regular Planet Zoo content might be on hold for a bit longer. I’m doing my best to find my spark again, but at this point, even going out for groceries feels like a lot. So it’s really important for me to slow down and recharge.
