I'm tired of getting literally 8 back to back unskippable ads on twitch. Not sure if YouTube has ads on streaming because I have YouTube vanced. But YouTube by a mile for me

With Twitch making terrible decisions I'm sure YouTube will try and capitalize and make the streaming better, so as of right now? Twitch, in a few months? YouTube (maybe pure speculation) Edit: You probably shouldn't poll your YouTube community they have a clear bias.

Honestly do a test trial of both, get a feel of what each platform can offer and then make a decision, since twitch was built for streaming but YouTube isn’t far behind. And since you are already on YouTube it may just be easier to stick with your current fan base unless you really want certain features from twitch that are not available on YouTube. Wish you the best of luck, hopefully you find which one suits you best.

Idk why nobody else has mentioned this but you can stream on both at the same time.

YouTube for community, Twitch for accessibility. I stream on twitch because there's a whole other community on there that might want to take a look at what else I do. I also stream there because it's a bit more accessible. I wanna figure out a way to multistream eventually.

Obviously YouTube considering all the double standards on twitch

Both are iffy for different reasons but YouTube is the better option.

Youtube because obviously they are way more experienced despite they’re controversial decisions. The thing i dont like the most about twitch is the alternative of live pornography to be fair so does YouTube permanently sticking there While the most positive i have with twitch is Chaos mod and rainbowmizer Interaction on content creators constantly on both although its down to preference slow chat movement to apex levels of fast in Twitch What i like about it is the really fast on chat unlike youtube is slow But fact remains the decisions they made is like HAAS 2021 season

I would say stay with your fan base on YouTube , Even though you can still promote the twitch in videos it would be easier, I would love to see some streams on this channel good luck

YouTube if on a separate channel. Twitch if you already have an audience willing to move platforms.

Twich was more optimized and had a ton of features, but since they dont relese new things youtube will just slowly copy everything from twich

With everything going on for these two platforms, being a streamer these days looks less and less appealing. Twitch is taking a bigger cut of streamer profits, YouTube are huge racists (as korykenshin pointed out), manipulators/liars (again, korykenshin pointed this out in his expose of YouTube) and fascists to the extreme (like to dislike suppression as a supporting reason), their CEO is an incompetent moron who probably has a hamster wheel running in their head to keep basic functions going. I'm pretty sure the reason storyfyre failed was because corporate espionage and pockets being lined that was ordered by a company that didn't want new blood in the water.

So I started streaming on Twitch and I can…well let’s put it lightly - do NOT go to Twitch! Not only are they taking a larger cut from the revenue, even the viewers nowadays don’t have a choice but to watch not one, not two, not three but up to more than 6 ads! It doesn’t get better tho, they force you to play ads on your stream! EVEN IF YOU TURN IT OFF! Please don’t start on Twitch! Not at the state it is in right now.

I’d say based on current events regarding streaming services, YouTube is better.

In terms of features and viewer engagement, Twitch. In terms of stream quality and monetization, YouTube.

Twitch just draws in way more negative people. I've seen some of the most wholesome streams here in YouTube in the last few years.

When you think YT comment section is toxic, take a look into any big twitch chat.
