Please keep her original voice! You can improve on it to make it smoother for the engine but, that robotic sound is what got a lot of people into vocaloid

This is insane! I guess missile 39 changed their mind about a vocaloid voice bank as with V6, the desired outcome is possible. Also this is very likely to succeed as most of Adachi Rei's existence was made possible by Japan only crowd funding. The only reason it would fail would be if people didn't want her to have a vocaloid voice bank as the entire no actual human voice thing may be lost.

i'm very hopeful but also concerned. a japan only crowdfund might kill this project purely because of the amount of money it needs, which is quite high, especially considering that it's for a database that will be way easier to use on the vocaloid engine, but sound no better (as sounding better would ruin her appeal) than her free UTAU option. i feel like not allowing for international contributions will increase the chances that the 5 million yen goal won't be reached, let alone the 10 million needed for a multilingual database. i really hope it succeeds because it would finally give me a reason to purchase the full version v6 editor, which i've not found appealing enough to invest in yet due to the better quality offered by more affordable competitors. a far less fiddly way to use adachi rei would be appealing enough to justify an upgrade for a lot of people like me, who are still just using the V5 editor and/or piaproV4x or V4. (although, if she doesn't reach the crowdfund to have the V6 features, i would hope she'd be released as a V5 anyways. why make people pay for the V6 editor if the database won't have any of the V6 features?)
