It is with great sorry and sadness that I announce the passing of my friend and friend of the channel, Ricky Tee Brown.

My thoughts are with his wife Lorraine at this time.

Many of you will remember Ricky for his regular guest appearances on my 'Fix My Mix' live shows.

One of his great qualities was an open and encouraging attitude towards people getting started with home recording. Something he nurtured in his own Facebook group 'The Home Recording Studio Zone'.

I was personally inspired but Ricky's welcoming attitude and patience with questions from people just starting out.

On a personal note, I will miss this great man. Behind the scenes Ricky was always there for me. He was a massive support during my troubled times despite all he was going through with multiple illnesses. It was never too much trouble for him to get on a call and talk it through.

Ricky just loved everything about making music. He loved the gear, the process, and the people. At the heart of it all for him, was the humanity of it, the soul.

I will miss you deeply my friend.
