What instrument do you secretly hope Rob and Andrew never bring into the studio?

Can you talk about the process of going to a different studio to record the third album?? How much time did you have to prepare, what were the difficulties, and do you think that you took anything away from the experience that you'll incorporate into your work going forward??

@EricTheYounger

Last question: how long do you spend mixing/mastering the Album after the day it is recorded?

How did you first meet Rob (Scallon) and start to get involved in his crazy projects? (Btw my favorite moment of you is the behind the scenes of Djazz when both Robs are dying of laughter 😂

What was the first thought going through your mind at the beginning of the first FoO session when they told you they hadnt written anything yet?

As you've done this a few times with First of October now, are there any changes in your workflow or special preparations you make ahead of time in the studio to make recording on the day more streamlined?

@JustinConenna

Tips on session management for a project like First of October would be great. Would you set up a big session for every instrument, leave gaps between songs and use as many memory locations as possible?

@Bcast1324

Like on Never Say Goodbye when you asked Andrew to chug a power chord as a build-up, how much influence do you have/feel like you have with how the songs end up after the jam?

Whats your signal chain in a project like this? Are you trying to process as much as you can while tracking or do you try and get the most "bland" sound and shape later in the mix? Also are the Slate mics worth it? I see you use them a lot

For this last album: what was your strategy as far as laying out your Pro Tools session? I imagine you were organizing things on the fly - did you have some things templated in advance to try and avoid too much last-minute scramble?

What did cross your mind at the very exact time you knew you were in this kind of project, a.k.a when Rob and Andrew said "we have no lyrics, no songs, NOTHING" before starting the first album?
