The fact 2p Mizu doesn’t proc the blight made me so sad, the waist and legs could’ve been somewhat salvageable for a bow setup

I did some tests in training and I'm quite disappointed I expected more damage, even master of charge seems irrelevant when you consider that you have to remove a jewel.

Whiteflame skill on the new bow seems to be nice with flat 50 raw damage every few seconds but it doesn’t have close range coatings :( i think it still loses to the G.Arkveld bow.

I spent the entire day playing around with the bow and the new body part and playing with the charge skill. Some of the new armor are better. especially the misu hip part. If you are using one element bow and monster with a very small weak point I swith the spread skill to charge and made more damage but I also change the setup and I was able to put Burts level 4 on my built with level agitation and I made damage. Remember, this is with element weapon, but if you are running a non element weapon, just keep the way it definitely plays with the armors. I'm no longer using the gore because I change to evasion mantle

Zoh Shia is a fun fight. His weapons are kinda meh, they give a pop of fire damage every now and then like a blast proc or convert element. Haven't tested the armor, but there's interesting pieces that could be mixed in with some melee sets. Dragon piercer is still viable but it doesn't do quite as much damage as before. Still useful for ZS fight shooting sideways through his wingarms or trying to cut the tail. 1000 dragons does noticeably more damage now but not sure if chaining those when the monster is down is stronger than the normal rotations. Mizu bow is pretty trash, 210 damage, some affinity, pierce and exhaust coatings. The weapons have an affinity boost when wet and stack with bubble blight. You can make the build work but I don't see how it would be better than gore.

I think the update also broke something. When I apply my coating, sometimes I hear the loaded sound but the coating is not applied. Other case, the coating is applied without sound. And few smaller animations blocks the coating loading.

zoh shia head and chest let’s you go agitator 5 and weakness exploit 5 with gore bottoms and g arkveld b gloves. should be a slight improvement to damage for low affinity bows and artians. not incredible, but also not nothing.

Wasn’t able to play tonight due to work but I’ve seen all the new gear.
Sad to say it seem extremely mediocre for bow.
I’ll cover it on Monday, and I will still test everything + the bow changes.
First glance, looks very disappointing
