Too early, game library will build up and its gimmicks are so underwhelming, mouse pointer, game chat 10pth way to socialise garbage, DK/Kirby look good rhats it, no thied parties look good poets or new. So like PS5/Xbox it sucks, but these 2 for other reasons (these 2 I refuse to buy, family have them but not buying my own, I barely touch them in the house because they are so terrible and boring, even compared to the Xbox One and PS4 era [used the PS4 fair bit even when end of PS3/360 era and I still use older consoles more for games I have to play or replays or whatever) but 8th gen is my least favourite with boring games 1st and 3rd party ever. Utter garbage priorities for garbage games. Indies or B/AA/AAA. They are so boring, obvious trends that compared to past trends are worse and lack effort out in, inspirations or game design has taken a nose dive it's so boring. Indies are uncreative, empty and can't do gameplay, rhry van nail art, animation and more but not gameplay it's always empty. Nostalgia or inspiration only puzzle/adventure ones impress me, platformwrs suck, shooters are multiplayer jokes so barren of ideas it's hilarious, racing is just motorsports idiots so the games are boring and basic woth nothing to them. Racing games of 2000s had so many cool mechanics/style, now theybhave none of that and are too realism seriously boring, it's just sad. Hack n slashes/tactics are hit and miss of good. Visual novels are alright. It varies but the big games are so boring. Basic movesets/missions/level design they are all dialogue, basic things to do and flat line, skill trees and other garbage excuses. I played the PS5 for Ratchet, GT7, and Space Marine 2, was not impressed, Ratchet is basic formula and doesn't use rifts in interesting ways/pther ideas are boeing, GT7's progression sucks. Good mix of event types/modes more then other generic racing games, but still sucks. Space Marine 2 was a 1.5, it was good but disappointing still, the gimmicks, games and more are the most gameplay who cares I have ever seen, its all.story/viduals, gameplayis secondand for me gameplay is 1st so they all suck, also many Indies are just inspired not original so they suck too, older AAs were better then current ones priorities). I will wait for Switch 2 like did Switch 1, 2026 Switch 1 looks great anyway. Rhyrhm Heaven Groove woo. I didn't like Switch 1 gimmicks either but thr library had a lot of niche Nintendo IPs or AA Japanese games/Vita ports I wanted, yeah I am not their common target audience customer. PS4 OS is good enough for me besides eshop/late physical I am totally fine with 30fps and gameplay first, any genre. Loading times don't bother me.
