Maybe we’ll see them in Paldea in a flashback or when they’re grown up

It's been a long ride and while it has its ups and downs, I'll never forget the good times with these two. Until we meet again...

I've been a Pokémon fan since 1999... I played all of the Pokémon games up to Pokémon Violet, and watched almost all of the movies and anime.. it is just to surreal to see Ash and Pikachu go like that after 25 years... it's depressing for me even if Roy and the other new characters are great, and now going back to watch old Pokémon movies and anime will make me feel sad knowing that they're both gone..

Here’s to you Mr. Ketchum! Thank you for 25 incredible years of an anime. You wanted to be a Pokémon Master and now you are, but you’re the very Best As Well!!! THANK YOU ASH!!! WE’LL MISS YOU MAN!!!

@CeruleanAster

You know, it would be really cool if they cameo in the new series in each new region. They don't even need to say anything, but just a little something to let us know he is still traveling and making new friends. I feel like Ash wouldn't settle down just because he's the world champ.

Sad to see that their journey has come to an end, but Ash and Pikachu have always been a part of our childhoods. Maybe we’ll see them again, who knows.

@Amirisphere

#ThankyouAshandPikachu For defining who I am as a person today. Thank you for showing me that even through the toughest times, I have to keep a smile and a powerful attitude, even when it's the most difficult to do so. Thank you for showing me how to enjoy the little things in life, and live life to the fullest. And thank you for showing me how to think outside of the box in any endeavor. I was blessed with Pokémon Heroes when I was 9, and Ash's biggest and final arc was a Latios and Latias one when I'm 19. I feel like it's a personal Thank you to me for watching for so long. I've supported Ash ALL the way, I don't hate him at all, he was my best friend when I had no one and he taught me how to grow. So thank you, Ash Ketchum (Satoshi) and Pikachu!

I still remember the day I got my first pokemon game (Omega Ruby) I have played as far back as Silver and as far forward as Violet. And returning home to watch the newest episode of the anime. We all miss you, Ash. We hope you return.

Wasn't here quite that early, I dropped in sometime during Ash's Sinnoh adventures (rough estimate, as FireRed was my gateway but I remember a Sinnoh movie being out and on the tv), but it has been a significant portion of my life since 2008(?), and even now continues to be so despite my burning passion laying elsewhere nowadays. I can only hope that the kiddies now get the sort of journey with our new protagonists that we got with Ash, those memories are priceless :D

@BoodyWoodone
