RealLifeLore

I've started a new 2-part series in Modern Conflicts on Nebula this month covering the history of al-Qaeda as an organization. The first part is live right now, and covers the origins of al-Qaeda and its history leading up to the 9/11 attacks, which can be viewed here nebula.tv/videos/reallifelore-modern-conflicts-ori… Obviously, this kind of content would immediately be age-restricted and demonetized here on YouTube, which is why this series will only be found on Nebula. Part 2 covering al-Qaeda's history since 2001 will be uploaded to Nebula next month. Thanks!

To be honest Im surprised Nebula is still a thing. I expected it to fizzle out years ago but nope.

One of my favourite creators on a platform full of great creators, I'd argue my Nebula Subscription is the best value per minute of content vs. Any other platform, YouTube included.

at least with Nebula the money goes to the creators, other platforms are pretty nasty to their creators as well. also can just drop a lump sum and have it in perpetuity so it's cheap compared to 2,3,4 other streaming services you'd pay more in a few months.

I’m about to share a hot take, it’s sad that YouTube won’t let educational videos like these be on YouTube without them directly and indirectly harming the channel. I get that some topics of geopolitics and history are sensitive, but at the of the day, it’s still important to learn about dark stuff along with the happy and the positive. That’s what history and geopolitics often is.

My problem with nebula is the search and general working of the app. YouTube is MUCH better.

You could probably convince the military on the border to just join South Korea because like Israel, they have a military mandate so literally everyone has to be a soldier and I’m sure everyone wants to get to South Korea for free

invasions of Israel and Ukraine have brought a sudden recognition: What appeared to be, until now, disparate and disorganized challenges to the United States and its allies is actually something broader, more integrated, more aggressive, and more dangerous. Over the past several years, the world has hardened into two competing blocs. One is an alliance of liberal-minded, Western-oriented countries that includes NATO as well as U.S. allies in Asia and Oceania, with the general if inconsistent cooperation of some non-liberal countries such as Saudi Arabia and Vietnam: a Liberal Alliance, for short. The other bloc is led by the authoritarian dyad of Russia and Iran, but it extends to anti-American states such as North Korea, militias such as Hezbollah, terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Palestine Islamic Jihad, and paramilitaries such as the Wagner Group: an Axis of Resistance, as some of its members have accurately dubbed it.

You folks do realize you are not forced to pay for anything, right? Dude's in his own right of selling content in however way he wants/needs, and you buy it if you want, if not there's plenty of good content on YT as well
