Growing up, my only source of an mp3 player was one made for the Gameboy Advance. It only held like 2mb but it let you record straight from any aux output. For a long time, I kept the audio of You're The Best Around from the tournament scene recorded on that mp3 player, which took up like half its memory 🤣

Fun fact: The song you're the best around was meant for Rocky 3, but the director didn't like it. And chose to have eye of the tiger so that's why karate kid got the song And the rest they say is history.

You're the best is my favorite and the most iconic, but I love Cobra Kai's Cruel Summer even though that's in Cobra Kai and not Karate Kid.

Cruel Summer. Even the remake by ace of base was excellent. Something about that song when I hear it come on gets my blood pumping especially ace of bases version which was basically the same but there was more grind in the synthesizers and girl sang it well.

Golf N stuff seemed like the perfect place in the show for a first date it seems like. Ali and Daniel went there in KK1 and Miguel and Sam went there in season one. Young hearts is perfect
